High pressure system persists. Cows move into SG4. 8 splits used mostly around 38 acres. 14 bulls now in herd, and 2 more left to be put in herd. We might have adjusted too slowly to increasing grazing pressure, along with changing forage volume/quality of paddocks.

Very hot. Cows move into 2nd split (NW corner of SG5) after I, Natalie, and Pierce work hard to complete a permanent paddock splitting fence in SG5. Four more bulls placed into herd.
Hot. Mob moves into 1st split SG5 (west 1/3 with new permanent fence splitting 5) in late afternoon. Available forage reduced from an earlier hail-storm. First 4 bulls are placed with cows.
Continued warm and then some. Three more day moves (7 splits total) in NG2.
HOT! Morning move to 4th split in NG2. Hoppers at headquarters are ridiculous, yet more moderate numbers out in the paddocks.
Warming. Second split in NG2-25 tp35 acres splits. Cows had back-tracked into NG4, so maybe we were a little tight with the acreage allotment.
Dramatic thunderstorm last night-good shot of moisture and very mild all day. No moves today, due to cows breaking out yesterday. Prepared next 2 splits in NG2. Natalie heads to Colorado to pick up her pup.
Light afternoon rains and moderating temperatures. Cows break into 7th and last split in NG4, so need to move. Hopper numbers seem to be leveling and even decreasing.
