Not so hot and light evening thundershower. Mob moves to 2nd split in NG3-5 on late afternoon. Travis and I set yearling steer (and open heifers) departure for 8.28 and bred heifers for end of September. Caragana shrubs leafing back out in shelterbelt.-no hoppers.
Calm and modest temperatures turning hot again by later afternoon. Cow mob moves into NG3-5. Fence separating 3 and 5 is now temporary.
11 Hot throughout period. Three daily moves in SG5. We gave cows on average about 10 added acres per split, and left a little more stubble than paddock 4. How close should we graze if we don’t plan to return for over a year? Sage grouse family are seen at water center on Tuesday. Hydrometrics does capacity test for the Griffiths and Lackey well.
