Breezy and cooler with stormy-snowy weather on the way. Cows move to next split in WG2.
Woke to pea soup fog. Clearing and warming occurs later in the day. Cows move to 2nd split in WG2. Cows are a little unsettled with return much smaller temporary paddocks.
Modest. Cows move onto first split in WL2 out of WG4 to get animals to pass through pellet feeders on way to water. Cow unhappy to be back in smaller strips.
Sometimes cool, sometimes warm. Cows were trailed into Ryan’s corrals, and then allowed out enter first split on WG4. We hope to run very tight splits for herd impact while in the WG cell. Michael and Whitney harvest 2 antelope-one very nice buck.
Nice rain last night-muddy roads. Cool and mild the rest of the day. Cows are moving on their own volition closer to Ryan’s corrals. I hope to have them to the corral center tomorrow and expose calves to feeders. Dusk brings with it the calming chirps from the brush of migrating sparrows.
Cool and no new rain. Cows move into NG7-closer to corrals. Traveled to Malta to facilitate the CMR Community Working Group. Rain
More sun and brisk. Cows stay put. Bull needs doctoring. Tested home garden well to see of adequate for houses-passed test. We can move forward to tie pit-storage water into corral water system.
Cloudy and cool all day. Cows moved into NG6 grazing their way to Ryan’s corrals. Pre-weaning pellets arrived. Over 1000 starlings have been hanging with the cows. It would be more impressive if they were native.
Nice day with some sun. Cows stay put. Getting fences tuned up for move to Ryan’s corrals.
