Light frost and windy and cool today. Cows in SG5.

The snow and rain came in the night and stayed throughout the day but no major accumulation. After 5 walking hours in welcome dampness, the cows are where they need to be-NG3 and SG5
Light frost but another gentle late fall day. Began the trail to NG3 but didn’t get all they way-animals spread from NBW4 to NG3 about 3 miles. I had to break for a Coalition meeting with Petroleum County Commissioners. Calling for sleet and snow.
More wind but even warmer today. I worked on preparing the next paddock move, as we head to Ryan’s corrals for weaning.
Windy yet mild for November. I got all the cows back into NBW 5. Moved the bulls into all of SNG 7. While removing some temporary fence in the BLM pasture cocktail, I observed remarkable re-growth of the turnips (see picture below) some of which I collected for myself. I saw two bluebirds at the lackey cell center-pretty late to still be here. Flushed 4 sharptails on the road to reservoir.
Clear cool morning. All week while sitting, the alignment of the quarter moon with Jupitar, Venus, and Mars was center stage in the east morning sky. Rare alignment. Ryan moved the cows back to NBW 5.
Light morning frosts. Cows escaped into SBW 5 and 6. Between the mud and the meetings we just left cows where they were.
First snow of the season. 0.6 inches in the rain gauge this morning. Off and on rain and snow all day ending with thick fog. Roads are a mess. Watershed meetings all day.
Overcast and windy today. No movement of the cows. Rain started in evening. I traveled to Bozeman to provide a facilitation training.
Blustery winds but modest temps today. Yearlings arrived at the Feedlot in good time and good condition. I moved the cows into NBW 4. The creek has started running again and the ponds are full.
