A slight warming, depending on the wind. I did two splits in NBW8. Cold weather creates good opportunity for even grazing and animal impact. See photo of cows.
Cold with some new snow-maybe 2 inches. Cows in NBW8 and headquarters area in WL4.
Clear and cold. Cows broke into WL6 and 5 while I was in Bozeman for a meeting.
Cold. Cows are grazing small splits in WL4; NBW8; andNBW5. Cow relaxed and full, and don’t seem too concerned with the sharp drop in temperature. Calves are still working through splits in WG3.
Cold with sharp NW winds. Where’s that scarf? Cows in WL4.
Windy and cool with a touch of popcorn snow. I am in Helena attending Open Circle Sangha. Cows are floating toward West Lackey 4 to graze another timbered paddock before cold weather comes. This time we get concerned about eating pine needles and triggering abortions.
Windy, overcast, and cool. We trailed cows to corrals to back pour for lice.
Cool and windy. I trailed cows into SBW9. This paddock offers a clean trailing corridor to the corrals, as we plan to back pour on Saturday. Florin will spend two days tuning up needed fixes at water centers. Just in time before arrival of cold weather.
